Thanks to the social service provided by Dulce Cárdenas Torrado, a student at the Pureza de Maria School at the Santa Rita de Cascia Home, her sister Andrea and her mother Maria Soledad learned about the mission of this home of the Fundación Proyecto Unión and decided to become part of this great family that gives hope to the most vulnerable populations of the country. When they saw the children’s rooms, they decided to put into action their desire to help by bringing a lot of colour and joy to a wall, radically transforming the atmosphere in this important space where children spend most of their time.
Maria Soledad, a mother, a business manager, Andrea, a future lawyer and Dulce, a college student, are not painters but together they set this goal and for this they met several weekends at home, where little by little they expressed their feelings of solidarity and friendship through a beautiful mural of animals that filled the heart of the artist with colour and hope. the children.
Thanks to the commitment and initiative of families such as Dulce, Andrea and Maria Soledad Torrado, the children at home enjoy their stay in the room more, feel more supported and loved by our team of volunteer angels, who every day surprise us with their great initiatives and thrill us with all the activities they carry out for the benefit of the children.
