“Last Saturday, June 7th, was a day that will be printed in the hearts of everyone: since early morning hours, about 90 people, including officials from Sincosoft and their families arrived in the Centro de Vida in Tocancipá, (Cundinamarca) to live a different morning, full of smiles, games and unforgettable moments.

As part of the strategies of the “Conectando Corazones” (Connecting Hearts) program, an activity called Home Experiences took place, and within such activity there was a special one: The Village Fair, a space that was designed to share as a family while creating authentic bonds with the children beneficiaries of the Foundation, who undoubtedly were the happiest people of the day.

Since 9:00 a.m., the meeting point started to get filled with energy: ice-breaking activities began to make every one move and prepared the ambient to receive the greeting by our Director, Dr. Fernando Quintero, who pointed out: “Joining efforts helps us to continue with the strengthening of our mission. Today, more than ever, hearts are connected around a single purpose”.

One of the most touching moments was the entrance of 30 children from the Nursing Home through a Guard of Honor by volunteers and their families. Games such as “rana”, throwing a disc, soccer and target shooting became integration scenarios where laughter, applauses and even some dancing were the main ingredients. More than a competition, each one of the activities became the perfect excuse to build bonds between the officials, their families and our children, thus furnishing an experience where all became one.

The day was closed with a delicious pick-nick, to profit from the beautiful surroundings and the generous weather that accompanied every moment of the day. Among blankets, snacks and spontaneous interventions, a day that left a mark was closed.

From the Foundation, we sincerely thank the staff of Sincosoft and their families for joining, once more, this mission of love, empathy and commitment. Thank you for bring us a Village Fair with a purpose, where shared time and planted smiles, not games, were the most important part.”
