“Centro de Vida received guests of honor today: Beatriz de Loboguerrero, Vice President of FOCSA Colombia, Friends of Colombia for Social AID, Andrés Loboguerrero, Management Consultant, Kristian Lund Kofoed Krikoo, Sustainability Advisor of the Embassy of Denmark and international volunteers Sira Stoehrmann, Emma McCloskey and Florence Mercat from Denmark, England, and France respectively who came to learn about the “Dream under Construction” that is transforming the lives of the most vulnerable children in our country.
The activity was planned as part of the celebration of Children’s Month. Our guests delved into each one of the programs by the foundation and walked down the halls and rooms of the “Hogar Amparo Quin”, which currently hosts 30 children. They also visited the fourth phase, currently being implemented. The emotional touch of the activity was given by the children, teachers, volunteers, and collaborators who, with their elegant white typical costumes, danced a cumbia, a demonstration of the friendship, teamwork, joy, and hope experienced in every corner of this nursing home.
Thanks to each member of the Proyecto Unión family, especially the children who made it possible for our guests of honor to leave motivated and committed to add more hearts to this valuable social inclusion project that will provide timely and comprehensive health care to more than a hundred children”.
