In our Centro de Vida headquarters in Tocancipá, we lived a day full of dedication and solidarity thanks to a very special volunteer work. On this occasion, it was the parents of Colegio San José de Cajicá who, together with their children, put into action their desire to help, demonstrating that service is a value that is transmitted by example.
About 50 parents arrived with enthusiasm to join in different essential tasks: the labeling of the food, the organization and selection of donations and the accompaniment of pedagogical activities with the children.
This volunteering is part of the school’s commitment to the formation of leaders with a vocation for service and is an example of the joint work that has been carried out with the Proyecto Unión Foundation. We are deeply grateful to every father, mother and pupil who took part in this day, not only with their time and effort, but also with their generous donation of diapers and snacks, which allowed us to share special moments with the children, volunteers and employees of the headquarters; Thank you for being part of this mission!
