“Ten members of Baxter, a global leader in patient care, put on their volunteer shirts and arrived last Friday at the ‘María es mi Madre’ soup kitchen of the Fundación Proyecto Unión, to serve with joy and dedication to more than a hundred elderly beneficiaries.
On this occasion, the volunteers who attended were from the pharmacy department, so they divided the tasks in the soup kitchen to serve lunches, work in the pantry, and provide significant support in organizing and distributing the donated medications that arrive at the pharmacy.
The elderly greeted this great team of volunteers with much gratitude, as they left their mark on this place, frequented daily by more than a hundred homeless senior citizens.
