“A year ago, we began a journey in association with the Sincosoft corporation and the “Connecting Hearts” program. This bond has strengthened and impacted the lives of many beneficiary children and adults in the Foundation. In this version, the gathering was at the María es mi Madre (Mary is my Mother) Dinning Hall, a space that offers breakfast and lunch to more than a hundred elderly people living in street conditions.

From early hours, a group of 22 volunteers arrived with their hearts ready to serve and a very clear mission: give out smiles, share time and serve a delicious “Bandeja paisa” (Paisa Platter) with the greatest affection. From serving the plates to bringing them to the table, to sing songs for the elderly, each and every gesture built a bridge of connection and humanity. There was also a very special moment: the prayer. Gathered in groups, the elderly gave thanks not only for the food but also for the company of each and every one of the volunteers.

As a finishing touch, a dessert prepared by one of the staff members of Sincosoft and his family was offered as a special gift; a gesture that summarizes the spirit of this day: serving with shared love and commitment.

Thank you, Sincosoft, for believing in what we do and for partnering with us. Thank you to the volunteers who, with generous hands and open hearts, demonstrated that when service comes from the soul, it leaves an ever-lasting impression.”
