A different rotation, full of emotions and learning for personal and professional life was the one carried out by Emanuel Izquierdo and Mariana Meza, students in the last semester of medicine from the Javeriana University in our foundation.
For a month these young interns had the opportunity to get to know the reality of almost a hundred children suffering from complex illnesses, as well as that of elderly adults in street conditions, beneficiaries of the Maria es mi Madre Dining Room.
They not only supported us in organizing medical records and training nursing caregivers on their management, but they were also part of the children’s families, actively participating in the feeding, attention and care processes. Thank you for your contributions and love given to our beneficiary children and grandparents.”
