The doors of the Foyer of Teatro Colón (Bogotá) open yesterday evening to receive almost one hundred angel donors who gathered to attend the 2022 lyric concert for the benefit of Fundación Proyecto Unión in its 6th version. Every year, Gloria Wiesner, angel ambassador of the Foundation, invites to solidarity to advance in the construction of a dream called “Hogar Amparo de Ángeles” (Shelter of Angels Nursing Home) which will bring back hope to hundreds of vulnerable children who require special care.
On the occasion of the celebration of World Opera Day, internationally renowned performers such as Mezzosoprano Laura Mosquera, Baritone Juan David González, Soprano Laura Gómez, Tenor Felipe Cevallos, accompanied by pianist Beatriz Batista, performed a varied repertoire, earning great applause and congratulations.
Thanks to the valuable contributions of those present at the event and the sponsorship of Koyomad S.A., Helm Bank, Totto, Infomedia and the Board of Directors of the Teatro Colón, Fundación Proyecto Unión will begin the fourth and fifth phases of this great social inclusion project which, we are certain, will transform the lives of many children and families in need.
