Knowing the main needs of the most needy population and supporting them is one of the objectives of the members of the Amazon Gives Volunteer Committee, so this time, taking advantage of the beautiful Christmas season, they put into action their desire to help the children of the Santa Rita de Cascia Home of the Union Project Foundation.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, thirteen volunteer angels made up this wonderful team of people who had the opportunity to visit 47 children suffering from complex illnesses, share their time with them, read stories, play, sing and feel the joy and personal satisfaction that comes from giving affection and love to those who need it most. Lina Prada, Operations Manager, and Daniela Rubio from Human Resources led this activity that filled many hearts with joy, in addition to delivering a generous donation consisting of elements from the house’s Dream Board, which contribute to the health and well-being of the children.<\/p>\n
One of the most special and generous details from this great team of Amazon volunteers was the personal delivery of custard and doughnut to each of the caregivers and collaborators of the home, because they wanted to exalt the important work they do, the nurses, the general services people and all that great family that accompanies and cares for the children in the home.<\/p>\n
