On the occasion of the celebration of social responsibility day worldwide, the multinational company Seal Telecom of the Convergint Group, dedicated to the development of technological projects and integrators of security solutions based in Colombia, decided to share its solidarity with the children and grandparents who are beneficiaries of the Proyecto Uni\u00f3n Foundation.<\/p>\n
A team of 55 volunteer angels, under the leadership of Freddy Fern\u00e1ndez Country Manager and Natalia Pach\u00f3n from the Human Resources and OSH area, who knew the foundation from her experience as a volunteer, arrived very punctually at the headquarters of the Dining Room “Mar\u00eda es mi Madre” with the full intention of serving the most vulnerable population.<\/p>\n
The Foundation’s Volunteer Coordinator, Daissy Mu\u00f1oz, distributed the different tasks of the house so that everyone could participate in this day, so while some were dedicated to serve 120 lunches, others collected and washed the dishes. Other groups worked on organizing the bodega, the market and the pharmacy.<\/p>\n
During the organization of the medicines in the pharmacy, Tatiana G\u00f3mez, from the Facilities area said: “it was a magical and very moving experience, one does not know how much in need others are, it teaches one to value the importance of food, medicines for them, it is really admirable what they do here”.<\/p>\n
In addition to having served and shared this morning with a hundred grandparents, this large group of volunteers sent a valuable donation of diapers, milk and toiletries to the children’s home “Santa Rita de Cascia” and snacks for all caregivers. It was a very profitable day, in which the volunteers lived an enriching experience and took the opportunity to get to know each other since some members of the organization traveled from Barranquilla for this purpose.<\/p>\n
